Performing a calculation
To perform an entitlement calculation
- Enter a reference number to identify the client
- Enter demographic details about the client on the page ‘client details’, click on next when finished
- Enter any state benefits the client claims on the page ‘entitlements’, click on next when finished
- If the client qualifies for tax credits the page ‘income for tax credits’ appears; enter the client’s gross income and click on next when finished
- If the client qualifies for tax credits the page ‘tax credit award’ appears; check whether the estimated tax credit award shown is correct (over-write it if not) and click on next when finished
- Enter the client’s non-benefit income on the page ‘income for benefits’, click on next when finished
- View the client’s entitlements on the ‘results’ page
